St Peter's Lutheran School

We offer a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small class sizes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio. This allows us to devote the most time possible to each student and contributes to the sense of family within our school. Our classrooms are well-equipped with updated resources including a fleet of modern laptops and iPads, allowing students one-to-one access to these devices. Touchscreen televisions in each classroom are well utilised in our teaching and learning activities.

At St Peter's Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills, and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.

Our vision is to nurture, develop and inspire lifelong learning within our caring community.

Winter Lightning Premierships

Yesterday, most of the senior students travelled to Nhill with Mrs. Wren and I, to participate in the Winter Lightning premierships. We joined with Nhill Lutheran School to create teams for football, netball, and tee ball. Our students just participated in netball and football. Although it was cold we were very lucky to have no rain. All students put in 100% effort, with some students participating in sports they had never played before. The netball girls were up against some very tall opponents but never gave up. The footballers just ran and ran, they did an excellent job and came home grand final winners! Excellent effort from all students involved.

Hot Food Friday

Today the students will enjoy pizza for lunch. As I've previously said, the kids look forward to hot food Fridays on these cold days. Thank you to the families that have donated food and volunteered their time for today's lunch to happen. Our school appreciates it.

Library System

Recently we've got a new library computer and system. Students are enjoy getting into a routine of having library on a Friday and borrowing books. Our school library is so greatly resourced and has loads of books for students to borrow. With borrowing comes returning. We are encouraging students to return their library books before they borrow more. They are more than welcome to borrow the same book again if they wish. If you find any library books at home, please send them back to school with your child.
